Cinco De Mayo! Ay Ay Ay!!!

I was never really quite sure on why Americans were so engrossed in the idea of celebrating Cinco De Mayo; after all, it's not OUR holiday. However, I am one to celebrate everyone's triumphs, holidays, and mixed drinks, so bring it on Mexico!

The ladies over at Twitter Moms are sponsoring a Twitter Moms 'Cinco De Mama' event on May 5th on Twitter. So in an effort to get the party started, I wanted to share a recipe that you could bring to the party.
(note to readers: this recipe was discovered after me and my girls had drank one pitcher of a traditional margarita, then tried to get creative)

BTW, no Margarita is complete without Jose Cuervo.I REFUSE to use anything else in my Margaritas.

Juicy Fruity Margaritas

1 1/2 oz Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila
1/2 Cointreau
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
1/2 oz orange juice
1/2 cup of crushed ice

Mix all of the ingredients in a blender (or shaker if you prefer it on the rocks), then pour into a salt or sugar rimmed Diva glass. Garnish with orange or lime slices.

Enjoy!

You know what's really tasty? The same exact recipe- only you trade the Cuervo for Bacardi Limon. Yum! Try it sometime.
